Program Manager - Federal IT

Job Summary

Leading a high-visibility federal mission application modernization program, the full-time Program Manager - Federal IT will manage a multidisciplinary team of 30-36 professionals, ensuring the successful delivery of platform modernization and legacy application sustainment while maintaining strong customer relationships in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead program delivery across two concurrent workstreams, managing team performance and project milestones
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer's program office, overseeing kickoff activities and ongoing engagement
• Manage staffing and transition activities to ensure continuity of mission-critical operations during modernization efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of professional experience, including 5 years managing Federal IT programs
• Demonstrated experience leading contract or system transitions as a Program Manager
• Experience with milestone-based delivery structures involving Government acceptance of deliverables
• Strong program management capabilities across delivery, cost, schedule, staffing, and risk management
• Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with Government executives and technical teams
