Program Manager, Global Communities

Job Summary

To support the Global Communities team, the full-time remote Program Manager, Global Communities will plan, facilitate, and implement volunteer activities and programming for clinical communities, managing relationships with speakers, volunteer leaders, and partners to enhance HIMSS's global presence.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and execute community-focused activities and programs, ensuring effective communication and follow-up
• Manage annual committee appointments, track deliverables, and develop action plans for completion
• Schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and coordinate logistics for community and volunteer groups

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, informatics, project management, policy, or related field
• Minimum of three years of project management experience in the association or healthcare industry
• Proficiency in IT/communication applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based collaboration tools
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across geographic locations
