Job Summary
To support the expansion of fiber construction programs, the full-time remote Program Manager, FDC - Subsidy Builds will manage planning, delivery, and compliance of subsidized builds, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and adherence to funding requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Translate subsidy award commitments into integrated work plans and measurable deliverables while maintaining structured updates and reporting
- Drive subsidy-funded programs from award through construction completion, service activation, and required certification, monitoring contractor performance and addressing issues
- Maintain governance frameworks and ensure compliance with broadband subsidy programs, managing documentation and workflows for audit readiness
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of five to seven years of telecom program or project management experience, including fiber planning, engineering, permitting, or construction
- Strong understanding of the fiber build lifecycle and subsidized buildout obligations
- Experience managing complex portfolios and converting construction and compliance work queues into structured execution plans
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, program tracking tools, and GIS or location-management platforms
