Program Officer

Job Summary

Supporting the implementation of the Ukraine Veteran Rehabilitation and Reintegration Program (UVRR), the full-time Program Officer will manage day-to-day program activities, oversee subawards, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of program objectives in Kyiv, Ukraine, with partial eligibility for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate assigned program activities, ensuring timely implementation and high-quality documentation
• Provide programmatic oversight of subawards and partner-led projects, reviewing workplans and tracking implementation progress
• Facilitate collaboration with civil society organizations, local authorities, and service providers to support veteran reintegration initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, political science, sociology, law, social work, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in managing donor-funded projects
• Experience in coordinating activities with external stakeholders and understanding Ukraine's civil society landscape
• Proficiency in Ukrainian and fluent English (at least B2 level)
• Demonstrated skills in project management, including activity design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
