Project Development Manager

Job Summary

Driving the development of large-load data center projects, the full-time remote Project Development Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, manage land control and interconnection processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data center development projects from site identification through commercial operation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Drive land acquisition, lease negotiations, and interconnection processes while coordinating with landowners and utility partners
• Lead project diligence efforts, organizing data rooms and tracking project management milestones for stakeholder alignment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years (Manager) or 8+ years (Director) of experience in developing utility-scale energy or data center projects
• Proven experience managing critical paths on live projects with hands-on execution
• Strong knowledge of power infrastructure, interconnection processes, and electrical systems for large-load facilities
• Experience with land acquisition, permitting, and securing project entitlements
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
