Job Summary

Leading a multi-country, donor-funded programme, the full-time Project Director Consultant will set strategic direction, manage a multidisciplinary team, and build relationships with senior donors while working remotely or from London.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee the strategic impact of the programme, ensuring alignment with organisational values and donor goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior donors, advocating for technical approaches and managing resource allocation
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a senior team, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality outputs

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing diverse, senior teams in high-pressure, multi-country environments
• Experience in adaptive management and fostering a collaborative working culture
• Strong networking and stakeholder relationship-building skills, particularly with government departments
• Experience overseeing projects in complex or conflict-affected settings with effective risk management
• Understanding of OSINT methods and their application in challenging contexts
