Project Lead - App Development
Job Summary
Serving as the primary technical lead, the full-time Project Lead - App Development will be responsible for reverse engineering Rocket terminal emulator macros and converting them into IBM PCOMM-based automation solutions while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze Rocket macro scripts and workflows, reverse engineering business logic and process dependencies
- Automate mainframe operations including host navigation, screen recognition, and batch processing
- Create design documentation and generate macro mapping documents to support operational runbook development
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience with IBM 3270, IBM 5250, and terminal emulation platforms
- Strong experience in IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM), EHLLAPI, and HACL automation
- Advanced proficiency in VBA and VBScript; preferred knowledge of PowerShell, Python, C#, and Java
- Deep understanding of host sessions, presentation spaces, and keyboard mappings
- Experience in implementing logging, error handling, and recovery workflows
