Job Summary
Serving as the primary technical lead, the permanent hybrid Project Lead - App Development will be responsible for reverse engineering Rocket terminal emulator macros and converting them into IBM PCOMM-based automation solutions while ensuring business functionality and performance integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze Rocket macro scripts and workflows to reverse engineer business logic and process dependencies
- Automate mainframe operations including host navigation, screen recognition, and batch processing
- Create design documentation and support operational runbook development
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience with IBM 3270, IBM 5250, and terminal emulation platforms
- Strong experience in IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM), EHLLAPI, and HACL automation
- Advanced proficiency in VBA and VBScript
- Deep understanding of host sessions, screen attributes, and keyboard mappings
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, C#, or Java is preferred
