Job Summary
Supporting a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs program focused on suicide prevention and mental health, the full-time remote Project Management Specialist will manage day-to-day project coordination, administrative tasks, and operational support across multiple workstreams while collaborating with program and project managers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support for multiple projects and workstreams
- Maintain project schedules, action logs, and documentation, ensuring visibility into priorities and deadlines
- Assist with Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning and backlog coordination, while supporting project managers in gathering requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, public administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, consulting, or program operations
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities
- Proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
