Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Project Manager will serve as the owner's representative during vendor-led implementations, build and manage project plans, and ensure accountability for project deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as owner's representative during vendor-led implementations
- Build and manage project plans, timelines, and risk logs
- Coordinate client teams, IT staff, and vendors while holding them accountable to project scope and deliverables
Required qualifications
- 7+ years managing technology implementation projects
- Experience as an owner-side project manager on at least two vendor-led software implementations
- Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple business departments and outside vendors
- Experience leading user acceptance testing, go-live, and post-launch stabilization
- Track record of recovering at least one at-risk or failing technology project
