Project Manager Appliance Standards

Job Summary

Managing multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, the full-time Project Manager Appliance Standards will work remotely to implement strategies and provide technical support for appliance standards initiatives while partnering with stakeholders to advance rulemaking processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Codes & Standards team to implement appliance standards initiatives and provide technical support
• Develop and oversee work plans and budgets, ensuring compliance with project requirements and timely delivery
• Evaluate technical reports and contractor work, offering constructive feedback to meet project milestones

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in project management or technical roles related to building systems or appliance standards
• Technical understanding of residential and multifamily building systems, particularly heat pumps
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and testing results for non-technical audiences
• Proven experience in managing complex projects independently and developing work plans
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools like Asana or SharePoint
