Project Manager - Contractor

Job Summary

To support the Nexus Program Office, the part-time Project Manager - Contractor will coordinate execution across multiple workstreams, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of sprint milestones in a remote setting while working in the Eastern Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the integrated Nexus program plan and synchronize milestones, timelines, and deliverables across initiatives
• Run the operating rhythm including sprint planning, standups, and cross-functional working sessions to facilitate communication and ownership of deliverables
• Track dependencies, risks, and issues while preparing regular program reporting to communicate status across stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of program or project management experience
• Experience coordinating multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously
• Strong planning, organization, and follow-up skills
• Experience working in Agile or sprint-based delivery environments
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Coda, Jira, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project
