Project Manager for Automation

Job Summary

To support the delivery of hyperscale data center projects, the full-time salaried Project Manager for Automation will manage automation, building management systems (BMS), and energy controls scopes, acting as the owner's representative in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage automation, BMS, and energy controls scopes from design through construction and commissioning, ensuring alignment with owner requirements
• Act as the primary liaison between the owner, designers, and contractors for all automation and controls-related activities
• Oversee the integration of automation, BMS, electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure seamless operation of data center environments

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience managing automation, BMS, or controls scopes on mission-critical or large-scale industrial projects
• Demonstrated experience with hyperscale data center projects or similar mission-critical facilities
• Proven ability to act as an owner's representative in a client-facing consulting environment
• Strong experience with project scheduling, cost control, and risk management for complex technical systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project or construction management platforms
