Project Manager for Data and AI

Job Summary

Providing remote project management support, the Project Manager for Data Management and Artificial Intelligence will oversee policy development, governance, and strategic planning to enhance NASA's Data Strategy and AI maturity while collaborating with the Chief Data Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of data and AI policies, ensuring compliance and governance standards are met
• Develop AI risk assessment methodologies and create mitigation plans to address identified risks
• Facilitate inter-organizational planning and provide project management support aligned with data and AI initiatives

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of project management experience
• 6+ years of experience in data governance or data management, preferably in a federal or large organizational setting
• Expertise in AI and data governance and risk frameworks
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Minimum education of a BA/BS in Data Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field
