Project Manager III

Job Summary

Supporting a large federal-government contract focused on health-information technology, the full-time remote Project Manager III will manage software development projects, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives, schedules, and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects according to industry best practices, focusing on scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Lead Agile ceremonies and facilitate communication among project teams, clients, and stakeholders
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies while managing dependencies and competing priorities across software development workstreams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Nine or more years of experience managing mid- to large-scale projects, particularly in Health IT or public health informatics
• Demonstrated experience managing complex software development projects in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology and experience with tools like Jira for tracking software delivery
