Project Manager with PMP Certification

Job Summary

To support the VA's DEAN Operations and Initiative Transformation effort, the full-time Project Manager with PMP Certification will manage individual projects within a large-scale program, ensuring deliverables are executed on scope, on schedule, and within budget while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager for multiple projects, overseeing day-to-day management and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
• Apply structured project management methodologies to plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out projects supporting VHA's integrated health care system
• Provide project-level status updates to the Task Order Project Lead, escalating risks and recommending mitigation strategies to achieve DEAN mission objectives

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing large-scale programs, including at least 4 years in a corporate, government, or health care environment
• BA/BS Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable certification required at time of hire
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance and comply with VA security and privacy requirements
• Familiarity with VHA operations and the DEAN mission preferred
