Project Planner (Land Development)

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Project Planner (Land Development), the successful candidate will manage client relationships, conduct due diligence investigations, and prepare land use applications, with the flexibility to work hybrid or fully remote from Texas or a state farther west.

Key responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison with clients and agencies through clear communication and representation
• Conduct due diligence investigations, including reviewing agency codes and preparing site plans
• Prepare and process land use applications and coordinate the approval of construction permit applications

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in land development with retail clients
• College degree or technical certification in land use planning, real estate, environmental consulting, engineering, or a related field
• Experience with due diligence, site planning, land use entitlements, and construction permitting
• Ability to prioritize a diverse workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Demonstrated ability to utilize AI tools to improve team processes and ensure accuracy in work products
