Project Portfolio Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing a portfolio of R&D projects, the full-time Project Portfolio Manager will ensure effective management processes, drive consistency across global project tools, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of projects aligned with strategic goals, prioritizing based on business impact and resource availability
• Lead project planning and execution, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget while implementing best practices in project management
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate project status and outcomes, organizing cross-functional teams to implement projects from concept to completion

Required qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or Project Management certification is a plus
• Proven experience in portfolio and project management, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment
• Experience with project management software and tools, including MS Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and SAP preferred
