Property and Casualty Director
Job Summary
Driving strategic wholesale and open market placement for the firm's P&C book, the full-time remote National Placement Director will manage a team of placement leaders, negotiate insurance partnerships, and execute market strategies to optimize client coverage and pricing.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop placement teams, addressing escalations and leveraging the firm's resources for optimal client outcomes
- Negotiate program terms and expand relationships with insurance carriers, ensuring alignment with market strategies and quality standards
- Monitor market conditions and provide insights to leadership and sales teams to support new business pitches and retention efforts
Required qualifications:
- 15+ years in commercial P&C insurance with significant direct ICP, wholesale, MGA, or brokerage experience
- Deep carrier relationships across standard and E&S markets
- Property & Casualty license required; CPCU, CIC, or ARM preferred
- Proven leadership experience in marketing and placement teams
- Familiarity with placement/AMS platforms and data-driven submission tools
