Job Summary
Providing quality customer service and underwriting support, the full-time remote Service Underwriter II will underwrite new and existing business, assist policyholders with inquiries, and develop agency partnerships while demonstrating leadership skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Make educated decisions on claims and risk controls while assisting policyholders with various inquiries
- Utilize underwriting resources to review policy changes and ensure risk acceptability
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to de-escalate issues and promote agency partnerships
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Property & Casualty License required
- 3+ years of relevant underwriting and customer service experience
- Preferred insurance coursework and/or designations such as AINS, AU, or CPCU
- Solid expertise in MS Suite and working knowledge of underwriting concepts
