Property Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

To support the Claims Department's mission, the remote Property Claims Adjuster will investigate and resolve property claims, manage indemnity and loss expenses, and ensure timely reserving of claims while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations to determine liability and claim valuation
• Manage claims of moderate severity and complexity, ensuring accurate reserving and documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver exceptional customer service on first-party property damage claims

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in property claim handling and processing
• Progress toward a professional designation (e.g., AIC, CPCU, SCLA) preferred
• Proficiency in technology platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite and Internet-based applications
• Strong time and project management skills with a focus on process improvement
