Job Summary
Leading a team of proposal development professionals, the full-time Manager Proposal Development will oversee the creation of high-quality proposal and sales support materials while enhancing operational effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management for the proposal development team
- Deliver proposal strategies and materials that meet quality, compliance, and brand standards
- Analyze operational performance and implement improvements based on stakeholder feedback and proposal outcomes
Required qualifications
- Ten years of professional writing experience in marketing, public relations, proposal development, or business communications, including five years in healthcare
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional teams and strategic responses to RFPs or RFIs
- Experience improving business processes and managing a proposal content database or similar repository
- Strong knowledge of process improvement, performance measurement, and knowledge management
- Proven skills in strategic writing, storytelling, and presentation development
