Proposal Development Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance proposal effectiveness, the full-time remote Proposal Development Specialist III will independently manage and develop comprehensive responses to RFPs/RFIs, collaborating across functional areas to ensure alignment with strategic goals for large accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Independently plan, write, and manage multiple RFP/RFI requests simultaneously, ensuring persuasive and comprehensive responses
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify key strategic issues and create solutions for RFPs/RFIs
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on strategic business units and maintain up-to-date response data in the team database

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or English, or four years of relevant professional experience
• Five years of professional writing experience for marketing, public relations, or business communications, specifically in RFP/RFI responses
• Preferred: Master's degree
• Preferred: Five years of experience in healthcare, preferably in health insurance
