Job Summary

To support the development of high-quality state adoption submissions, the full-time salaried Proposal Writer for K-12 Curriculum will lead the creation of compelling RFP responses, collaborating with subject matter experts to translate complex requirements into clear content while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the content development of RFP responses for state curriculum adoptions, ensuring compliance with requirements and evaluation criteria
• Collaborate with curriculum and product teams to craft persuasive proposal content that aligns with state standards and instructional priorities
• Manage multiple deadlines and workstreams associated with complex submissions, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in proposal development or RFP writing, with at least 1 year focused on state-level curriculum adoptions
• Strong understanding of state curriculum adoption processes and evaluation criteria
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
• Proven project management skills, particularly in deadline-driven environments
