Provider Contracting Manager

Job Summary

Managing provider contracting and network development, the fully remote Provider Contracting Manager will develop and execute a provider network strategy while collaborating with Sales & Marketing and Health Services to meet market growth and medical cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Contract and negotiate with hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers across all product lines
• Conduct provider orientations and ongoing education to network providers
• Analyze network gaps and develop relationships with non-contracted providers to enhance the network

Required qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a Managed Care environment, Network Management, or Provider Services
• Medicare experience preferred
• Hospital contracting experience or related Network Management position
• Demonstrated negotiation and analytic skills
• Knowledge of provider reimbursement methods and claims processing systems
