Provider Credentialing Lead

Job Summary

To build a best-in-class department, the full-time Provider Credentialing Lead will design, develop, and oversee the onboarding and credentialing processes for healthcare providers across the United States, ensuring compliance with industry standards and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement credentialing processes and workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage the full licensure lifecycle for providers, including renewals and primary source verification
• Collaborate with internal teams and serve as a liaison to healthcare providers, addressing inquiries and providing support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in provider credentialing or a related role within the healthcare industry
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) designation is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of credentialing standards and regulations, including state requirements for advanced practice providers
• Hands-on experience with credentialing platforms and primary source verification tools
