Provider Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

To support revenue growth and improve enrollment processes, the full-time Provider Enrollment Specialist will manage the submission of provider enrollment applications, maintain enrollment statuses, and coordinate credentialing data while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manages timely and accurate submissions of provider enrollment applications for various insurance types
• Owns and works on Athena enrollment-related tasks, tracking and updating statuses in real-time
• Coordinates the processing of credentialing data and follows up with providers for necessary documentation

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payer or provider enrollment or enrollment operations
• Hands-on experience with Athena, including payer setup and enrollment dashboards
• Experience with Medicaid and Managed Medicaid enrollment is required
• Familiarity with payer portals and multi-payer/multi-state enrollment
• Strong understanding of enrollment dependencies, such as provider vs group enrollment and EFT/ERA setup
