Provider Relations Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as a key liaison between healthcare providers and the Workers' Compensation Payment Integrity Department, the remote Provider Relations Specialist will manage provider engagement, resolve reimbursement inquiries, and facilitate provider education while supporting organizational payment integrity objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers regarding reimbursement inquiries and billing questions
• Research and resolve provider questions related to payment calculations and assist in dispute resolution
• Maintain knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and ensure compliance in provider communications

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Nursing, or a related field preferred
• 2 to 5 years of experience in workers' compensation, healthcare reimbursement, or provider relations
• Experience interacting with healthcare providers and resolving reimbursement-related issues preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management or reimbursement platforms
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
