Psychometrician

Job Summary

To support the development of a client intake and profiling system, the contract Psychometrician will adapt validated psychological assessments into simplified, product-friendly questions while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review validated assessments to identify core constructs relevant for client profiling
• Simplify and rephrase assessment items into short, accessible questions while maintaining construct alignment
• Collaborate with Product and Clinical teams to define response scales and validate modified questions against original instruments

Required qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Psychometrics, Psychology, or Educational Measurement (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience in test construction, adaptation, and validation
• Strong understanding of psychological constructs such as motivation and wellbeing
• Ability to simplify complex assessments for lay audiences without losing validity
• Excellent documentation skills
