Job Summary
Providing coordination and support for surveillance and special projects focused on healthcare-associated and antimicrobial resistant pathogens, the remote Public Health Analyst II will manage communications, facilitate meetings, and analyze public health issues to improve project implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide programmatic and scientific technical knowledge to CDC subject matter experts regarding public health surveillance and applied research activities
- Facilitate communication with internal and external partners, including organizing project meetings and summarizing discussions
- Perform day-to-day project management tasks to ensure objectives are met and recommend corrective actions as necessary
Required qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field
- Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
- Expertise in project management tools and software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Master's degree plus 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a public health or related field is preferred
