Public Health Analyst II

Job Summary

Providing support for NHSN activities within the Surveillance Branch, the full-time Public Health Analyst II will review and evaluate statistical data, assess program progress, and disseminate scientific information through various formats while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate written materials and statistical data to develop program recommendations
• Use qualitative and quantitative methods to assess progress toward program goals and disseminate findings through presentations and reports
• Prepare and present educational trainings about NHSN to various stakeholders, including professional organizations and governmental bodies

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field
• Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
• Expertise in project management tools and software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote
• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
