Public Health Data Manager

Job Summary

To support public health initiatives, the remote Data Manager I will manage data analysis for clinical guidelines, conduct literature reviews, and provide evidence aggregation for the Office of the Director.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary and systematic literature reviews, including search strategy development and database searches
• Extract data into draft summary tables and perform evidence aggregation using evaluation tools
• Provide progress summaries and updates to leadership and participate in CDC response activities under direction of the DHQP Team Lead

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in data management or public health analysis
• Basic proficiency with Excel and databases; familiarity with SQL or data-management systems
• Ability to perform data entry, cleaning, validation, and basic quality-control activities
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance
• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field is preferred
