Public Health Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support public health agencies, the full-time remote Public Health Platform Engineer will manage and maintain AWS and Salesforce environments, ensuring the reliability and security of the PH360 technology platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams on incident response and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities
- Configure and maintain AWS and Salesforce environments across development, staging, and production
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and actively contribute to SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance efforts
- Monitor system health and participate in incident response to resolve production issues effectively
Required qualifications
- Experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting AWS cloud environments
- Proficiency in administering Salesforce environments, including sandbox management
- Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Direct experience working within a local, state, territorial, tribal, or federal public health agency
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, public health informatics, or a closely related field
