Public Health Program Manager
Job Summary
Supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the full-time remote Public Health Program Manager will manage project and program initiatives focused on emerging public health priorities, develop project management tools, and lead change management efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement feedback loops to identify and prioritize emerging public health threats
- Create strategic communications and engage stakeholders to support decision-making for emerging projects
- Support program planning and transition efforts by developing tools for project management and process improvement
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of documented experience with CDC, federal, or related public health entities, or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDC Public Trust clearance
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution, and risk management
- Experience leading change management and transition planning efforts
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management tools
