Public Health Technical Assistance Lead
Job Summary
Leading a blended team of onboarding coaches, the full-time Public Health Technical Assistance Lead will provide strategic and operational leadership for public-health technical assistance and onboarding activities, supporting healthcare facilities with NHSN FHIR-based digital quality measures in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day work of onboarding coaches and establish clear expectations for facility engagement and onboarding activities
- Track onboarding status across facilities, identify recurring issues, and recommend program-level improvements
- Facilitate discussions with healthcare facilities and other stakeholders to resolve technical problems and synthesize insights into program-level recommendations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least nine (9) years of experience in public health, epidemiology, or a related field
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading complex public health initiatives
- Strong client-facing communication skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Experience working with healthcare organizations and public health agencies
- Ability to complete a federal Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation
