Public Relations AI Associate

Job Summary

Combining public relations expertise with advanced AI capabilities, the full-time Public Relations AI Associate will enhance media relations and content development by designing and deploying AI-powered tools and workflows to improve UoPeople's global visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities:

• Support public relations initiatives using AI tools to strengthen media engagement and content development
• Conduct AI-enabled research to identify emerging stories, media opportunities, and relevant trends in higher education and technology
• Assist in developing press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content aligned with UoPeople's mission

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, AI, Data Science, or a related field; students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• 0-2 years of experience in public relations, journalism, or related fields; internship experience is acceptable
• Completed coursework or certifications in generative AI, prompt engineering, or emerging technologies
• Demonstrated interest in AI-powered communications and media relations
• Ability to apply AI knowledge through practical projects or assignments; experience in higher education or nonprofit organizations is a plus
