Public Relations Lead

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of public relations through AI, the full-time Public Relations Lead will design and implement AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance media engagement, content creation, and reputation management while partnering closely with senior leadership to develop compelling narratives and strategic communication opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows and tools to strengthen media engagement and content creation
• Identify and pursue strategic communication opportunities by leveraging AI to monitor trends and media conversations
• Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists, and strategic partners to enhance UoPeople's visibility and influence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or media relations
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies in communications
• Knowledge of the global media landscape and experience cultivating media relationships
• Exceptional storytelling and narrative development capabilities, including leveraging AI for content optimization
