Job Summary
To support a Federal client with a business and IT modernization project, the remote Architect/DevOps Engineer will design the technical structure of the ERAS Platform, ensuring secure and automated deployment while managing CI/CD pipelines and aligning with federal data standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and document a scalable, multi-tenant system architecture for multiple USDA agencies
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and support security assessments to ensure system security and availability
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems architecture and DevOps, with at least 3 years focused on federal government systems
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code, such as Terraform or Ansible
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and Zero Trust principles
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Professional Cloud Architect preferred
