Public Trust IT Architect/Data Scientist
Job Summary
Supporting cloud architecture and data interoperability, the full-time remote Public Trust IT Architect/Data Scientist will lead data science strategy, collaborate with scientists, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations for the SCHARE platform.
Key responsibilities
- Lead data science strategy in support of a custom data platform
- Collaborate with IT operational service areas to design, develop, and test solutions for a federal healthcare enterprise environment
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data science, bioinformatics, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience with at least 12 years in information technology
- Minimum of 4 years leading or performing data engineering or related functions
- Advanced experience in predictive modeling, pattern recognition, and data mining
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and MATLAB
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
