Job Summary
Driving Edifecs EDI platform stability and modernization, the full-time Public Trust Licensed SW Systems Engineer Principal (Edifecs Platform Operations Lead) will provide technical leadership and operational oversight for a VA program while working 100% remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Edifecs application support organization, managing staffing needs and ensuring reliable execution of production support activities
- Guide architecture decisions and platform modernization efforts, focusing on AWS cloud scalability and performance improvement
- Analyze and resolve complex EDI transaction-processing issues, implementing corrective actions to enhance service reliability
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Edifecs certification and a minimum of 10 years of experience in EDI, healthcare technology, or enterprise application operations
- Deep, hands-on experience administering and supporting the Edifecs platform in enterprise environments
- Strong AWS cloud experience, including EC2 instance management and operational monitoring
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub, including collaborative development workflows
