Publishing Work Placement

Job Summary

Offering a remote, paid two-week Publishing Work Placement, candidates will engage in various creative tasks, attend meetings, and participate in a group project while gaining insight into the publishing industry.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in creative tasks within a designated department while learning about other areas of the publishing house
• Attend meetings to gain insights into the publishing process and industry operations
• Collaborate with fellow participants on a group project to enhance teamwork and creative skills

Required qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Come from an underrepresented background in publishing, such as socio-economically marginalized, Black, Asian, or minority ethnic heritage
• No prior publishing experience or degree is required
• Currently reside in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, or parts of England outside London and the Home Counties
• Ability to commit to full-time work for the duration of the placement
