Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary

To support the NP&T program, the full-time hybrid Purchasing Specialist will manage purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and risk management for critical materials while ensuring material availability for new 5G radio equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute purchasing capability creation with the PuCC team and maintain risk management plans for suppliers
• Drive supplier selection and negotiations for custom electro-mechanical parts in coordination with R&D and category management
• Monitor supplier performance and manage communication for prototype builds and ramp phases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience preferred
• Electromechanical experience with components such as printed circuit boards and aluminum castings
• Proven project management and negotiation skills
• Understanding of product life cycles and critical milestones in product development
• SAP working knowledge is a plus
