Python Automation Developer
Job Summary
To support healthcare operations, the full-time remote Python Automation Developer will design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using Python to enhance clinical, operational, and financial processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical workflows and prioritize high-ROI automations
- Design and maintain Python scripts and tools that automate various workflows, ensuring robust exception handling and logging
- Develop EHR/EMR integrations and manage data pipelines, ensuring compliance with security policies and data quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or significant relevant automation experience
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software engineering or workflow automation, preferably in healthcare
- Experience with EHR/EMR integrations and healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, FHIR)
- Strong Python and SQL skills, with familiarity in RESTful APIs and workflow orchestration
- Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Developer, and PCPP1 Certified Professional Python Programmer Level 1
