Python Backend Developer
Job Summary
Owning the server side of the visitor funnel, the remote Python Backend Developer will design, build, and maintain Python services and APIs, while also delivering frontend features in React/TypeScript as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Python services and APIs for registration, booking, and visitor accounts
- Build and manage server-side integrations with ad platforms, ensuring reliable event delivery and monitoring
- Support A/B testing on the server side and investigate production incidents to ensure service reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of production backend development experience in Python, including designing and supporting services
- Strong backend fundamentals in API design, relational databases, and integrating third-party APIs
- Experience with production debugging and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with Node.js and the ability to work with Express services
- Working knowledge of TypeScript and React for delivering frontend features
