Python Team Lead
Job Summary
Leading a remote contract team, the Python Team Lead will manage backend development and integrations for critical services, including KYC and payment systems, while ensuring high-performance and scalable solutions using Python and Django.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership and ownership of backend features from design to production support
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external systems and ensure observability across integration flows
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to scope and deliver new integrations, while supporting production issues
Required qualifications
- Experience leading and managing a team of at least 3 engineers
- 5+ years of development experience with Python, focusing on API and system integrations
- Proven experience with third-party API integrations, particularly in payments and KYC
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
- Experience in architecture design for highly loaded and scalable solutions
