QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the SEC's Enterprise Qualitative Support Services contract, the full-time remote QA Automation Engineer will perform system analysis, verification, and validation across software and data workflows, conduct software QA and defect evaluation, and develop automation scripts using Python.
Key responsibilities
- Perform system analysis, verification, and validation across software and data workflows supporting IV&V activities
- Conduct software QA, functional/regression/system testing, and defect evaluation
- Develop SQL scripts and tests for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Iceberg environments while supporting data engineering processes and ETL workflows
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in software QA, test engineering, test automation, and data engineering
- Strong proficiency with XML, JSON, CSV, delimited, and fixed width data formats
- Skilled in SQL and experienced with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Iceberg databases
- Practical experience with Python for scripting and automation
- Hands-on experience working within AWS environments, including Redshift, Glue, and S3
