QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing software development team, the remote QA Automation Engineer will translate product requirements into effective test coverage, build and maintain automation with Playwright, and partner with Product and Engineering to ensure release readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Translate nuanced product requirements into testable outcomes and define acceptance criteria
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test coverage for critical user journeys and feature functionality
- Evaluate AI response quality and build datasets for accuracy and compliance with security standards
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of QA automation engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with Playwright, including building and maintaining automated tests
- Strong coding ability in TypeScript or JavaScript with experience in API testing and CI/CD integration
- Ability to reason about complex requirements and explore edge cases in testing
- Capability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance
