QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, the full-time QA Automation Engineer will enhance product reliability and quality by leading the end-to-end testing lifecycle, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks, pipelines, and automated tests (unit, API, integration, E2E)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and testing strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations
- Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software QA with a focus on writing automation test cases, preferably in the health tech industry
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks, along with basic SQL skills for database validation
