QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time QA Automation Engineer to work remotely, this role focuses on developing automated test cases, testing frontend, database, and API layers, and implementing best practices for test automation while collaborating closely with QA Manual, developers, and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for UI and API test automation
- Implement and document best practices for test automation to enhance code quality
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to ensure high-quality application releases
Required qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and familiarity with Katalon Studio and Postman
- Proficiency in Python and experience in both manual and automation testing
- Experience testing frontend, database, and API layers of applications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban or Scrum) and project management tools like JIRA
- Strong English language skills for effective communication and documentation
