QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support a mission-critical application modernization program, the full-time QA Automation Engineer will develop and execute automated regression test suites for web applications and APIs, ensuring application stability and seamless integration while working in a hybrid environment with on-site requirements in Northern Virginia and Maryland.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites for existing production web applications
- Integrate automated regression and contract testing into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to validate changes throughout development
- Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and maintain application quality during modernization efforts
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in test automation for web applications and APIs
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated regression test suites
- Experience with API contract testing
- Ability to design and execute tests around legacy application behavior
- Experience incorporating automated testing into CI workflows
